OMGosh. These girls were just about the cutest and funniest little girls I have met in a long time They sooooo reminded me of my step daughters. They told me that they love the show America's Next Top Model......so....we pretended that we were on the show and POOF.....the shyness goes away and they were "FIERCE" ;) Absolutely adorable.

.....Mrs. Lauryn.

Meet Lauryn. An 8 year old that loves to pose. :) My style of photography is more "photojournalistic," so it was really hard for me to get her to stop "saying cheese" and to just be herself. You can't tell an 8 year old to just "go play"....they would say "with what?" LOL. She's so adorable and probably has the most beautiful skin I have ever seen on a little girl. Here's my Top 5.

...Jess and Brody.

Meet Jessica and Brody. Gosh, I don't even know where to begin about this one. Jessica has been one of my closest friends for over 10 years and the birth of her son, Brody, has been such a special journey for her and me, as well. I photographed the actual birth of Brody and even got to cut his cord. As my husband says "She brought him into life, but I set him free" :) He's so adorable and has a personality to match. I've been photographing him since he was born but never really did a "mother and son" shoot, so I wanted to do something really personal with her. I just love these pictures. I'm actually REALLY jealous that I don't have pictures of Cole and I like this. But, when you're the photographer.....you deal with this alot because you're always behind the camera and rarely in front of it. But that's ok. I'm so glad I have the ability to give her pictures of him that she loves. Here's my favs.

....my EVERYTHING.

Meet Cole, my son. My WORLD. He's the reason I bought a professional camera...the reason why I began this venture......the reason I am who I am. I couldn't even begin to describe how many pictures I take of him....however....he's the hardest person in the world to photograph. He won't allow me to be behind the camera. :( He wants to be held...or he wants to crawl all over me.....and for some reason or another...it just never works out. Here are a few of the fall pictures I've taken of him. I couldn't narrow it down, Sorry. He gets more than five. ;)

....K&G...and a little bit about Julie.

Meet K & G, my guinea pigs. ;) Julie, my mentor, (www.jp-photography.net) graciously donated me her niece and nephew to "practice" on. But MANNNNN, was I stressed. I had the most talented photographer in all of Toledo watching over my shoulder. Ok, Ok, so it FELT like she was watching over my shoulder. But to tell you the truth...she was just in the vicinity. She was watching Cole while I did the shoot. I'm so grateful that Julie and I crossed paths. She is so talented and I pray that someday I will be able to have even half of her talent. Not only is she a great photographer...but she has also became a very close friend to me. She shot some Wedding/TTD/Unveiled pictures for me and I am forever in debt to her for all that she has done for me. She is a constant inspiration and I would not be where I am without her help. So....anyways...back to the kiddos. I had a good time after my nerves calmed down...and well...here are my favs.

Meet my step daughters, Beautiful and Pretty. Well, that's what my husband calls them....and boy....does it fit. They are absolutely gorgeous. This was my first photo shoot with children I had never met before. Thankfully, they warmed up to me pretty easily and after awhile I found myself playing right along with them. I just love capturing a child with a natural smile and not that "say cheese" look. Here's my top 5.

....Williams children.

I've known these two children since they were babies. They are absolutely BEAUUUUUUtiful. I'm so honored to do their pictures because their mother is VERY into photography and I was absolutely flattered when she asked me to photograph them. It was so hard for me to pick my top five pictures because I like to show pictures that represent each child's individual personality and there were SOOOOO many pictures that showed exactly that. But...I had to narrow it down. :) So....here they are. (in no particular order) ;)
